After spending an hour on hold trying to get a hold of DirecTV DSL’s “advanced support team,” my cordless phone’s battery started to run out, and when I went to change phones, my other phone wasn’t plugged in (due to earlier tech support telling me to unplug everything…) and I didn’t notice until it was too late. So then I call back and spend another one and a half hours on hold only to be told that PacBell didn’t get back to them the trouble ticket for my DSL line. Hopefully they will be able to resolve the problem tomorrow.
