For lunch my people from my group at work took me to La Fiesta in Mountain View for lunch. Despite eating there fairly often, we got the whole run down on tequila today. First they brought out pictures of the plant that tequila is made from and explained to us how it was made. Then they brought out about 5 different kinds of tequila including 30-30 anejo and reposado. I think the resposado tequilas are pretty much a waste of money. Anejo is definatly the way to go. They even brought out the expensive $40 per 2 ounce shot tequila and let us have a tiny sip. That is some good stuff.
